About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I have Slovak nationality and i have to wait for 17 hours and 40 mins. at Baiyun airport.

Hi, I want to ask: I am flying from Amsterdam (The Netherlands) to China - Baiyun International Airport. At Baiyun I have to wait for 17 hours and 40 minutes for the flight to Auckland (New Zealand). On the next 2 weeks I will flying back home via the same way, from Auckland to Baiyun (17 h 40 mins) and then from Baiyun to Paris (France). I am from Slovakia (Slovak Republic).

Is it necessary to have a transit type or can i use free stopover transit ?Thanks a lot for the response :)

Since you transit within 24 hours at the airport, you are not required to apply for the transit visa.
