The local typhoon season starts from May, so June is in the typhoon season.
But it does not matter. The typhoon season does not mean you will meet typhoon during your visiting. If you are lucky enough, you will not meet one. If you are unlucky to meet one, it does not mean you cannot travel. If you do not meet the strong typhoon, you can still visit some places in the city downtown area or shopping.
If I were you, I will choose to go in November. The temperature in Nov is suitable and it is not he typhoon season or the rainy season.
