About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I was thinkign to spend like 2-3 days ( max 72 hours) to visit the place, do I need visa for that?

I am plannign to travel to India from Australia by nov 2014 with stoppage in shanghai.

Thanks Mike! I have Australian PR and I hold Indian passport, does it effect this 72 hour free transit?

If you hold Indian passport, you won't enjoy 72 hours free transit because Indian is not one of the 51 countries.
