About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

What document do I need to produce beside my passport?

I am a Malaysian. I want to attend a wedding in Shenzhen in May. Can I ask the travel agent to apply for me? How long does it take?

Yes, you can ask an agency to apply for a L type for you. It takes about four working days for the embassy to issue the visa. You should also fill an application form and stick a recent colorful photo, which is as large as the one on your passport. If you choose an agency, the agency should help you prepare all the required documents.
