Bullet train tickets in Hainan

Upon arrival to Meilan Airport I have planned to walk across to the Bullet train station to take a train to Sanya, can anyone advise me do I need to purchase the train ticket before I arrive? will the tickets be sold out if I buy upon arrival? Hope to have your expertise advise. Thanks

When are you going to travel? If during peak season, it is best to book the tickets in advance. If not, it will be fine to get the ticket on the arrival day. There are 15 trains operating for the journey daily though!
