About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I only have one single entry Visa for China. Since I have a long layover in Guangzhou - can I apply for a 72 hour transit permit?

I am flying from NYC to Guangzhou and planning to go to Hanoi for 1 week before heading back to NYC from Guangzhou.

Yes, you just need to prepare tickets from Hanoi to Guangzhou then back to NYC from Guangzhou airport within 72 hours.
