About:Datong Transportation

Hello, I arrive at 17:35 at Taiyuan and I like to go to Datong by bus or taxi. How much it will cost? (we are 4 people).

By bus, you can easily take that at TY Bus Station. It costs CNY83 per person.

It is around 270km by road, so it may be hard to catch a taxi to go. If you can take one, it will be very expensive, so you'd better not travel by taxi.

There is also train service for the trip. Why not travel by train?

It costs CNY45.5-51.5 for a hard seat and CNY105.5-149.5 for a sleeper. As for the timetable, you can search it out at the TRAIN page of this website.
