About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

addition to my last question

Is it necessary for the 72 h visa-free transit that my flights from Hong Kong -> Beijing -> Germany are on one ticket or is it also working if they are on two independent tickets from different carriers? Of course I would have bought all tickets in advance to entering Beijing.
Thanks.
