About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

What are the chances of gaining a 3 month tourist visa for UK citizen.

If I provide a detailed confirmation of hotels booked for each day for 3 months and flight in and out of China?

It is hard to say. You are advised to contact the consular officer directly as they have the final stay to your application.
