About:Shanghai Travel

by train from Shanghai Pudong airport to the bund riverside hotel

My arrival is at 1.00am, what is the best way (transport) to get my hotel in the bund? I woud like to take Maglev, is it still operating afyer midnight?

No, the Maglev would have been out of service upon your arrival. I suggest you take shuttle bus Night Line to Zhejiang Middle Road (Yan'an Road, People's Square) and then transfer to a taxi to your hotel.
