About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Europe - Guangzhou (2h) - Beijing (60h) - Manila (few days) - Guangzou (24h) - Europe

Theoretically speaking I'm coming to Beijing from Europe although the plain stops in Guangzhou for 2h for some reasons.. does this disqualify me from a 72h free visa? I'm not planning to leave Guangzhou for the first time because of short time.. But can I leave the airport in Shanghai? cheers

Yes, you can't enjoy 72 hours free transit since you stop at two Chinese cities (Guangzhou and Beijing).
