No, there is no direct train service from GL to Hong Kong. You are advised to take a train from GL to Guangzhou Station first. Then go to Guangzhou East Train Station to catch a direct train to Hung Hom Railway Station, HK.
Train from GL to Guangzhou takes almost 11h and from Guangzhou to HK, it takes around two hours.0
