My husband has a temporary Stay Permit. Will it affect my application for Tourist visa?

My family's resident visa expired and we are on a temporary Stay Permit. I must travel outside of the country for a week and hope to return to China so my whole family can travel back to the US together. Will the fact that my husband is on a Stay Permit affect my application for a tourist visa?

How about your previous Chinese visa? is it for family visit? I think it is ok if you apply tourist L this time showing your ticket for leaving a week later.
