i have am already in china,want to apply for the x visa.

Do I need to go back to my home coutry to do that ? Or I can apply in the chinese embassy in China ??

I am afraid you have to go back to your country for student X application. In former years, to apply in HK is an option, by it had been stopped from last Sept.
