About:Telephone & Cellphone in China

Which SP is better among the 3 types?

Hi there, among these three, China Mobile SIM card, China Telecom SIM card and China Unicom SIM card, which one of the service is better? I prefer Data usage as my mean of communication is mostly on data. Can anyone help me with this issue? thanks a lot!

I think 'China Unicom' is the best among 3 carriers in China, because China Unicom's network is WCDMA(UMTS) compatible, which provides you good broadband connections, and it's speed is really blazing fast up to 42Mbps.

I just went back last week from Guangzhou. Never ever use China Mobile, weak signal and i only get EDGE quality of signal.

Iza, you need to buy a sim card according to your cellphone. If your cellphone supports CDMA only, you can just use China Telecom's sim card. If it supports WCDMA and GSM, then China Unicom is your best choice.
