About:China Private Visit Visa

Can i change L into S visa in china?

Hi all i am a student in beijing and i want to invite my wife to stay here for 6 months or more. Do i need any document from my university to attach with her application form? And if she comes here on L, can we change it to s in beijing?

Hi, your wife needs to apply for the S type directly. It should be S1 if you want her to stay for more than 180 days. An invitation letter, a photocopy of your passport and residence permit and original marriage certificate are required for application.
