Trip Montreal - Beijing - HK

Hello,

I have obtained a travel visa for China which allows for one entry. I have round trip tickets from Montreal (Canada) to Beijing.

Am I allowed to leave China to visit HK, return to Beijing (double entry) and then leave within 72 hours?

My initial ticket to and from Beijing is a round trip ticket and I will be travelling to HK by other means.
