About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

lodging an application

if i take it personally to be processed, can it be sent out so i dont need to go back to melbourne to pick it up?

Hi, you need to apply from CVASC in Melbourne. The center accept post applications, so you can send your application directly to the center and your passport will be sent back to you when visa is ready. The post processing takes 10 working days. You can contact them via +61-03-9937-2308 if they provide mail back service if you lodge your application in person.
