About:China Visa Exemption

Canadian's Traveling in Manila to Bankok for 5 days - visa?

Hello. My husband and I are Canadian and have are in Manila, we have a flight to Bankok on the 26th - we plan to just stay 5 days and then head to Shanghi for a few days and then we leave the country.

If you stay less than 72 hours in Shanghai and hold return air ticket, you won't be required for a Chinese visa. Otherwise, you should apply for a L type one for your Shanghai Trip.
