About:China Tourist Visa

I am confused about applying for a tourist visa from Bangladesh

Hi there,

I want to travel China from Dhaka, Bangladesh as a tourists (alone). This will be my first visit to China. I already visited UK, Spain and India. I know the requirements are hotel booking receipts, air ticket (round trip), written application form. Questions are: Do I need to provide my personal Bank statement? or any other documents?

I have a bank account (savings) but I do not have transactions with bank, if I have to provide bank statement for last six months, it would be a poor bank statements. But If I deposit the required money to my bank account and get a bank statement, would this be strong enough to apply for china visa?

Thanks
Asif

Also, I have friends in China, who are Chinese citizen. But unfortunately they are living in Nanjing, which is far away from Guangzhou (the place I want to travel.

Hi, you are advised to contact the embassy directly for this. I have no idea if they issued L to individual tourists or not. If yes, a 6 months bank statement is necessary.
