About:Juyongguan Great Wall

Great Wall facilities,photos and time

We're looking at taking a SNA tour to this section of the wall in August. This is the MOST important thing for me in China. How much time does one need? Is an hour sufficient? I'm big into great photos...are there photographers there? Is it usually busy in August, or can one get good photos? How about washroom and water...are they accessible? I was thinking of maybe getting there with the tour group, but staying and getting back on our own to our Beijing hotel...do you think that would be hard to do? I'm feeling very stressed about having to rush.

Generally, Aug. is a good time to travel there and it won't be very crowded. You will find photographers there for good photos. If you will join a tour, they can help you to take some good photos of the wall as well.

Don't worry! Washroom will be accessible there, but you'd better prepare water by yourself, because water for sale on the wall will be much more expensive.

It will be fine to get back to your hotel in Beijing on your own and it won't be that hard. However, if your tour agent arranges a van, it will be most convenient.
