pvg connection intl to intl connection between t1t2

Question

I will be arriving into PVG on United Airlines (T2).  My International connecting flight is with China Eastern (T1).  Do I need to clear customs and immigration or is there a transit facility that will allow me to move between T2 and T1?Thank you.

If you are making an international transfer, you do not need to clear custom and immigration. You just need to follow the signs to finish the transfer between two terminals.
