pre-book bus ticket kunming-dali?

Is it advisable (or even possible) to pre-book the bus ticket from Kunming to DL, or can we just show up at the West Bust station and get tickets for one of the next busses leaving?

Well, it is possible to book the bus ticket in advance, but it is not necessary, because there are many buses in operation for this journey every day, from 07:20 to 20:00 every 10-20min.
