About:Visa Policy of China

Flying home to Canada from NZ via Shanghai and Beijing - what type of visa will we need?

We will be at the Shanghai and Beijing airports for a few hours each - not leaving the airports.

hi Wayne,
if your stay in Shanghai and Beijing airports does not exceed 24 hours (two airports in total), and you don't leave the airports, you don't need to apply visa.
but if your stay is over 24 hours, you need to apply a transit visa before arrival.
