I am an Egyptian in working in qatar with valid resident permit of qatar need to visit china for an Exhibition on Feb 19 sponsored by the company, But i does not have an Invitation letter from China. What would be the process to obtain a visa?

do u have any invitation from the exhibition? how can you atttend the exhibition if you don't have any invitation or permission? any documents from the exhibition will be fine. to obtain the visa, you have to prepare all the documents and submit them to the Chinese embassy or consulate General in your country. you'd better start your application as soon as possible.

yes, you can go as a tourist. to apply a tourist visa, you need to provide round-trip air tickets, hotel reservation in China, your valid passport, fully completed visa application form, and passport-size photo to the Chinese Embassy.
