Rush Chinese Visa in Tokyo

Hi, I will be in Tokyo from 4 Feb to 10 Feb. As an Australian tourist in Japan, can I apply for a rush L type? Do many people get a visa denied? I say this only because all my belongings are in Beijing and I am desperate to get back by the 10th. I'd appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks.

yes, you can apply a rush L type. you have to provide a copy of your Japan Entry record on your passport, with other required documents, and submit them to the Chinese embassy or Consulate general in person.

Hi Owain,

I'm about to do the exact same thing, and am wary about leaving my stuff in Beijing. Can you please let me know whether you have been successful in getting the visa in Japan?
Cheers,
Anna
