what are the traditions that happens at the celebration of a chinese new year?

Usually, on the Spring Festival Eve, Chinese people will eat dumpling, staying up for the mid-night, setting off firecrackers and fireworks. The kids will get the lucky money. In north part of China, you can see Temple Fair and Shehuo.
