About:China Customs Declaration

Temporary import and export of audio products

Hi, I am thinking of showing some new audio products (eg speakers) to my friend who is based in china. This will involve trade samples.
(a) How should I go about doing this? Do I need to apply for permit? If so, how?
(b) For the above purpose, can these be tax exempted in China? I will be bringing the trade samples back once the product demonstration is over. Thanks you.

What kind of audio products do you send?
If for CD products, no tax or any other documents are needed to post for the amount is no more than 20 pieces. If is arond 20 to 100 pieces, you need to pay tax. If over 100 pieces, it is regarded as trading.
These are all I know. If you want to know more, it is suggested contact the custom office directly and the contact information can be found on the official website of the custom.
