About:Linyi Travel

To Linyi, Shandong from Beijing?

Hi,
there seem to be no direct flights from Beijing to LY available, so I wonder if there are no better solutions than flying via Shanghai with a travel duration of about 25 hours???
I also wonder what the smog situation in LY might be in May? Since I may have to stay there for 4 weeks I am a bit worried.

You mean you have already finish a 25-hour trip via from Shanghai and then reach BJ?
Hope you still feel good.
Truely, there is no direct flight, but I think you can take the train. There is a train is suitable at around 23:08 and it reaches LY at around 09:29. The train number is K51, so that you can have a sleep on the train and may not be so tired when you reach the LY.
The direct buses also exist from Yongdingmen Bus Station, but it not suggested to take, because the bus takes about ten hours.

The smog in May in LY is not so serious, so please do not worry about it.
