It is suggested to take a taxi to Kowloon Point Ferry Piers at Salisbury Road where you can take the ferry to reach Central Pier No. 7 and then walk to the No. 3 at Man Kwong Street to take the ferry for Discovery Bay at Plaza Lane, Discovery Bay, Lantau Island. It is very easy to transfer.

Hi Joan. Thanks for the reply. I was just unsure of using the ferry from Kowloon to Central with luggage. I have been to HK before and used the ferry all the time from Kowloon to Central but as I say the luggage was the concern. I can actually walk to the ferry terminal from where I am staying but if it was a problem with luggage, I was thinking of getting a taxi over to Central.

I presume that either way I get to Central, that this is a better way than travelling on the MTR to Sunny Bay or Tung Chung as I think these involve change of trains if I remember rightly.

If Joan or anyone can just advise on my worry of using the ferry to Central, I should be obliged. Thanks
