Hello,Wie will travel from KongKong to Guangzhou at sep.10.2014 and we stay there 2 Nights, and we will buy in Guangzhou for the day Sep.12 a ticket for the Number: D2102  to Hengyang arrive on 10:26 and than we will buy a ticket Hengyang to Guilin number: G529  start and arrive  15:32 - 18:18. We want to bay this way because we wish not to travel in the overnight train to Guilin. My question: it is posible buy the boths Tickets in advance in Guangzhou Station? Or do we have to buy the second ticket in Hengyang ?Thank you and best regardsJuan

You can buy both tickets in Guangzhou. But it 's better to book in advance to guarantee availability.

i am afraid you can not purchase train tickets in Hongkong for those that running between China mainland cities. But you can ask the locals or hotel staff when you are there. Just for reference.
