availability of plane tickets in the Mainland during Chinese New Year

I want to go for Chinese New year to China Guangzhou. flying arriving to GZ on 29th or 30th of January 2014, I have to stay about 5 days. I am afraid sincewas told that if I wanted to to Wenzhou or other, cannot find any plane tickets. Is that true that all planes are full and fast trains also . and will be stuck in GZ ????
