About:Chinese New Year

spring festival (chinese new year) holiday in China

I am not aware bout the public holiday during spring fest and I will be going to china from 31st january to 5th feb 2014. Will all the attraction places or spots will be closed during spring fest. Please advice me on this?

The holiday starts from Jan 31 to Feb 6, but the attractions will be open during the festival, so please do not worry.

Thank you sooooooooo much for the info. I know that there will be celebration performances and lantern events, can I know where I can watch and feel the celebration, the usual spot/location? during day or night?

smaller city will have more activity,such as in my hometown,Hanzhong,Shaanxi province,it will have daytime performance everyday at certain time from Jan 31 to Feb 6.
