About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

I will be teaching in Shanghai; will my french chiropractor boyfriend be able to get a visa to join.

He would like to work in Shanghai...does he need a job before he applies for it?

If he want to work also, he needs to get a job first then apply for work Z directly. Because he can not get a long-term visa to join you in Shanghai, but only a 30 day visit type.
