study permit

Question

I moved into china with my husband & i now have residence permit (for personal reasons), can i use this permit to study? or will i have to apply for another type of permit?

What kind of study? if you mean to be enrolled by a university, you need to apply for a student X visa, then a residence permit based on the X. But if you just attend some training class, your current residence permit is enough.
