UK citizen married to Chinese national

I have visited china many times and am looking at travelling back in March 2014. Been married for two years and my wife and I live in UK with my wife having residence card in UK. I usually go for single entry tourist visa but heard I can now get two year multi entry due to my married status, is this correct and what is the type?

Hi, if your wife is a Chinese, then you are able to apply for a family reunion Q visa. Q1 is issued for longer stay, the residence permit based on Q1 can be issued with a max of 5 years.
