Getting Multiple Entry 12-month Validity China Visa in Tokyo

Hi,

I am a US Citizen currently living and in Japan with a 3-year Working VISA for Japan. I need to get a China 12-month multiple entry V for business. What are the steps necessary to obtain it? Can I get that in Japan as opposed to getting it in the US?

You can apply in Japan without problem, but according to the requirements of Chinese embassy/consulate, you have to apply through a travel agency there. For multiple entry one, it may be complicated, but still possible if you have invitation letter or other proof showing your need of multiple entries.
