About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Bangkok-Shanghai-Busan

Hi, I'm a korean traveller travelling around Thailand now. I have a flight tiket which is from Bankok to Korea via Shanghai and I want to stop over at Shanghai for 60hours.
During this time, I want to see my friend there. Do I need any visa? Or not?

Hi, you are able to take advantage of the 72 hour visa free transit in Shanghai. Make sure tell your airline about this request so that they will send your information to the airport in advance. The free permit will be issued upon arrival. You can use the permit to visit your friend in Shanghai.
