i wish to travel from Beijing to Xian, Xian to Chengdu, Chengdu to Shanghai, Shanghai to Hong kong

Trains are available for your trips. But the tickets from Shanghai to Hongkong are released to the public 60 days in advance and quite hard to get. You'd better find an agency to check the availability and schedule first.0
