Dog And Dog Pair

We have known each other for years and he finally expressed his feelings to me. We have been dating for almost three months. This is the first time that either one of us has truly been in love. He wants us to marry in April. Is this too soon? He says he's waited so many years for me and now that he has me he doesn't want to let go. Should I trust this?? I mean I feel he loves me as much as he says he does. It's all new to me. I'm 31 and I have finally found my true love.
