How easy is it to get to the Great Wall from Shanghai? The Terra Cotta Soldiers from SH?

The Wall is in Beijing and you can fly to Beijing first and then use the local public bus line 919 to the Badaling Wall directly. You may need at least a day and a half to that place.
The Terra Cotta Army is in Xian and you still need to fly to reach Xian first. From local railway station square, the local toursim bus line 5 can take you to the attraction directly.
