Passport expires in 4 months, how should I do?

Hi, my passpord is about to expire in september and i'm planning to visit china in may. I'm not in my country of birth at the moment can i still apply for the l visa do i really need 6 months before passpord expires??

Hi, a Chinese visa is valid for 3 months, so you can apply earlier when your passport still be valid for more than 6 months.
