south yunnan highlights

Question

Hallo!I'm flying to Kunming the 26th of january and i plan to immediately leave the city in order head down to the south of Yunnan: can you suggest me which are the places worth to visit? Only Xishuangbanna or also Puer? Or any other place that i don't know? I'll travel by land and i'll stay only one 5-6 days in that area, since the goal of my trip is Laos, where i will stay 8-9 days more.Any suggestion is highly appreciated!Bestsimone

in the south part, both the Xishuangbanna and the Puer are suggested. In my opinion, you can spend about one to two days in KM, where the West Lake are is suggested to have a look.

thanks HarryI think I'll skip Kunming cause i've already been there once.Guess i'll also go take a look to Yuangyang rice terrace, guess are worth to visit.Don't know what to expect from Puer: Tea fields (i know a very famous tea is the Puer tea..)? What more?Thanks in advance.;)
