About:Visa Policy of China

can my future husband apply for Q1 visa?

im a chinese citizen and we plan to get married in HK, after the wedding, can he apply for Q1 right away with the HK marriage certificate from HK? And how long will it take to be approved? How much will it cost?

I don't think so. The marriage certificate issued from outside of mainland China needs to be authenticated by Chinese embassy. So it should be the Commissioner's Office of the Ministry of China Foreign Affairs in HK in your case. So it is a little bit complex for your future husband to apply for Q1 directly right away from there.
