about tracking status of china post air mail

i need help please, i bought an item from aliexpress on the 2013-11-08, but still it didn't arrive, i checked the tracking number and this is what it says (tracking number is : RB014988669CN ) :

it is stuck with dispatching, what does mean, and is it normal ?
i asked the supplier and told me that this was normal though, but i'm not sure ..
