VISA TYPE + Medical Insurance

Hello, My name Is Margaret and I am Kenyan Citizen residing and working in Tanzania. I am planning to visit my husband who is working in Beijing China for a week in April and I am not very sure what type I should apply for. Is it F type or a L-type? Do I need a medical insurance as well as a letter from my employer too?

You can apply for S2 type for short-term family visit. Medical insurance is not required as I know, but you should better try to contact the embassy directly for more details.
