About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

China Visa for non-Macao Passprt Holders

I am a german national currenly in China and would like to know whether the Macao office still issues visas for non Macao passport holders. It is pretty clear now that Hong Kong doesn't.

Really? but I am afraid you have to provide proof of legal stay or residence status in Macao for application either.

Thanks Colin,

well...I would of course be staying legally in Macao but I am not a Macao resident. Unfortunately they don't answer their phone at the responsible office there.

The matter is not important to me anymore now but should anyone know it would probably helpful to some people.
