About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

can i get s visa type for 180 days?

hello i m from india.i want to apply for 180 days stay type. I have original invitation letter from my friend. she is chinese. she send me her id proof nd resident proof. can i get this or nt. waiting for reply.

I am afraid that you can't apply for the S type because you two don't have kinship. Generally speaking, S type is for those who come to PRC for family visit. I think you can apply for a half year multiple L type with your Chinese friend's invitaion letter if you plan to stay longer time in PRC. But I can not guarantee that you will get it successfully.

thank u tim....can i get multiple L type...if i get then hw long i can stay in china...60 days and again i need to back nd again i can enter for 60 days...right.
