Latvian passport, residency in UK, on a trip (15 days) to China, after that 2-3 days in Hon Kong..

You should apply for a L type from the CVASC branches in UK. The required documents are your passport, completed 2013 application form attached with a recent passport-use photo, round-trip air tickets and hotel booking in PRC and your resident permit in UK (both original and copy versions). If you have an invitation letter, the air tickets and hotel resevation will not be required.
