About:How to Apply for a China Visa

Can I get a visa if I was fined for benefit overpayment?

I am (hopefully) doing a charity bike ride in China this year. In 2012 I was arrested housing benefit overpayment. As I had already paid the over- payment back before I was arrested I had to pay the court costs and was given a suspended sentence for 12 months. Which has now passed. I later went on to sue the court as I was told I should never have been arrested in the first place. I'm really worried I won't be able to go. Please help

To me, I don't think it will affect your application. If you don't choose Yes for crminal record and specify you were arrested, I think you won't have problem in your application.
